Christmas Cooking

This weekend is our big Sosinski cookbook party. We're all getting together to cook some Grandma Betty dishes...just to refresh some memories - here are some of the yummies we brought together at Christmas time. If you Sosinski ladies have the recipes to any of these, please bring them on Sunday!

Time to spill the beans...

Family: check
Co-workers: check
Facebook: check
It is time for us to announce to our fellow bloggers that we are expecting again! Carson will be a big brother come late January/early February. Hopefully this explains why the blog has not been updated as often as it should :) The first trimester is tough!
We are all very excited - especially Carson! He loves to listen to the baby (even if it is just my tummy growling!) but he gets a big smile on his face anytime he hears anything! Last night he asked me if I wanted to hear the baby in his tummy! Too funny...we are now having to have some of the birds and the bees talks.
Our due date is February 7th but we're anticipating a late January delivery due the fact Carson was 2 weeks early and weighed in at 9lbs 7 oz. This baby is definitely taking up more space, sooner, than CJ did!
Below are the photos my sister was able to capture as Carson made the big announcement to Grammie and Grandpa...

Next ultrasound is July 31st...we'll be sure to post those on the blog!

4th of July in Sunriver

For the 4th of July we headed over to Sunriver. It was Grammie, Grandpa, Amelia, Dan, Carson, and I for the first few days. The kids had so much fun together...I sometimes forgot they were cousins and not siblings!
The first night we got there it was warm but rainy...here is Dad grilling in the back...

This was the weekend for potty training! We picked out CJ's underwear before we left and he was so excited. The first day was awful...accidents every time we turned around but after the first day he was going pee pee in the potty almost 100% of the time! The poop was a bit harder but he figured that out within 3 days.

The following week at school Carson only had 3 accidents. I'd say that's pretty dang good!
On the 4th we took the kids down to the lake to feed the ducks. We were just cruisin along until Dan pointed out for the kids to watch out for the duck poop. Once he said that, Amelia took a better look around and started to panick a little bit. Good think Uncle Dan came to the rescue because Aunt Kelly was too busy taking photos and laughing...

The poop...it was everywhere!

Panick sets in...Carson wasn't quite sure what happened...

And, Uncle Dan to the rescue!
