Kid-Touch

For my birthday this year Dan and my parents got me an iPod touch. Let you tell you it is all that it's made out to be! Not only does it have everything I could ever need or want...games, calendars, notes, internet, movies, musit, etc. it also has tons of applications that I can download for Carson to play and learn from. Here he is playing the color game...this is going to come in Very handy when we make our trip out East this Spring :)

Box Sledding

Well, if you've watched the news at all over the last 2 weeks, I'm sure you heard Portland was getting hit hard with an "Arctic Blast". Carson didn't much care for it to begin with but he started to warm up to the idea towards the latter end. In an effort to get him out in the snow, I made a box sled for him to play with inside. After the snowman went for a few rides, I was able to talk him into getting in for a real one. I didn't anticipate for the weight change and we fell over at one point but dusted him off and was ready to go again.
The snow is now gone but we're heading out to Sunriver where we should definitely see some more....

Painting

Here are a few pictures of us keeping Carson busy painting. The funny thing here is you'll notice Willow in the backround of the last photo...as Carson was painting Willow was circling him and all of a sudden Dan and I hear Carson shout - "Willow, listen to my words...GO AWAY!"
Too funny! :)

Holt Family Christmas

"I use my muscles"

Aunt Molly and Carson...sooo cute!

Yes! A family portrait!

"YEeeaahhh!"

Wow, look at that BIG ramp!
Now Carson can take at least 48 of his cars with him wherever he goes! This will come very handy when we go over to Sunriver...

Christmas Morning w-Grammie & Grandpa

Comfy & Cute Christmas PJ's
Look at this face! He could not wait to open presents...but when I caught him here we were still waiting for Amelia and Ruby to get here so he knew it wasn't time yet...
Once it was time for presents the $5.99 cameras were by far the hit of the morning...I've never heard "Say Cheese!" said so many times

Carson definitely has the hang of opening the presents but I'm not sure he knows that what he's opening actually belongs to him now! I think tomorrow when we have everything set up he'll have a fun time playing with everything :)

"What do you mean I can't have that!?"

A canvas water-color picture of Mom and Dad's engagement photo...it's about time they had a picture of themselves around the house!

Thank you Mom & Dad for a wonderful Christmas. Your love is truly all we need!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent over and Mom and Dad's with our special family guests Ryan, Tera and their brand new baby Emerson (Emmy). She was such a good baby and as cute as could be.

The "big" kids couldn't get enough of the pony rides Grandpa was giving out...

A couple early Christmas Presents to open...
Cars!! Although Grammie got this because it has a black car like Grandpa's I think Carson mostly enjoyed the tractor...he LOVES tractors. We see one on our way to school almost every day and when it hasn't been there we have had to talk about what the tractor is doing instead of "working" for that particular day. Usually it's on PTO or sleeping :)

Christmas Decorations ~ Day 2

Day 2 of the Christmas decoration...while Dan risked his life to put the lights up on the roof, Carson and I hung out and played with his Tonka trucks. As you can see in the last photo, he was showing me how he organized them :)
