It can get pretty crazy around Carson's dinner time...I'm usually husling around trying to get it all pulled together while Carson follows me around crying (Dad is usually on his way home from work), so I've started pulling out our little step ladder so that he can climb up and be apart of things. He absolutely loves it...especially when he gets to use utensils like mine...the only difference being I use them to cook with and he uses them to bang with! :)

Saturday
Dan and I took Carson to the Children's Museum Saturday morning. We were both quite surprised at how outgoing he was with no friends with us. When we were in the little city area there were about 5 other little boys (probably 4-6 years old) and Carson would go right up to them and watch them play. He especially enjoyed sitting in the driver's seat and getting to play with all the bells and whistles.

Oma's Last Night
Last Wednesday was Oma's last night with us. We had all the Grandparents over for a little while and Carson was enjoying all the attention. Below are a couple photos of him with his Grandma's and a couple with Grandpa Gary. Grandpa Mark also stopped by for a bit but Carson had already hit the crib by then.
One of the dominant signs for a Leo is the fact that they LOVE to be the center of attention. While all the Grandparents were gathered around, Carson showed off his claim-to-fame...collecting shoes and giving them back to his owner. Here are two video clips I took of his enthusiastic show.

Carson's First Haircut
After 16 1/2 months of slowly growing some hair, Carson was finally ready for his first haircut! What a great way to start the New Year! Carson occupied himself with his favorite snack (as of today) pretzels, while Mom chopped and Dad took the photos. I was quite surprised at how much needed to be taken off...I guess I grew too fond of the little hair he did have that it took me longer to see that the cute little lock in the back was turning into a pony tail!
Drum roll, please...
Yup, there it is, the first snip! Only about 3 more to go...
After...
