A lover...
All toddlers love cupboards...opening them up, taking everything out, putting most of it back, and repeat. This weekend we finally decided to designate a Carson Cupboard where we could put empty boxes, tupperware, plastic bottles, etc. for him to play with. This works out fabulously because he now has something that he can actually do in the kitchen! And, surprising enough - he does put everything back!! So far, so good!
At school on Thursday all the kids were getting ready to go outside to play. This is Carson's favorite activity and was so excited he ran over to the door and tripped at the last minute flying head first into the door. As you can see, he has his first real bad bruise and I couldn't help but take a couple photos! Don't worry, he's fine and no drain bamage (in the words of my father) so far :)
13 Months...
TO BE CONTINUED...
Carson had Monday off from school for a teacher's in-service day. Dan took the morning shift and I did the afternoon. It was a fairly mild day so we finally got to get outside and play in the backyard. Carson hung out at his table, went down his slide a few times, collected some leaves, played on the deck, and checked out the rocks. As you can tell, he is learning a lot these days and taking everything in. Soon enough, he'll be talking and who knows what will happen then!
Dad and Carson climbing the hay stacks. Once Carson reached the top he got a little nervous but stayed tough and Dad helped him down like a big boy.
Grammie found her pumpkin almost right away! She liked the shape of it...
Carson took a little longer to pick his out but it was really hard to walk with all those vines everywhere!
On our way back to the farm on the hay stack ride.
